He can’t be sure why, but he knows he’s being hunted and must go on the run. Jessie must place his trust in an estranged uncle he never knew in order to stay alive. Now in hiding, Jessie leans on others to find safety and answers. But how will this spoiled, sheltered young man be able to solve the mystery of his father’s death? What is your favorite quality about yourself?

This was a hard one for me to answer so I asked my wife with whom I have lived with for over forty years. She said, ‘I was fair, understanding, honest, kind, willing to listen to the other person’s side of things. The list got kind of long, so I’ll cut it off with that.

What is your least favorite quality about yourself?

I hate being late for anything. I make everyone kind of crazy hurrying them up to get ready so we can get there at least twenty minutes early.

When did you first know you could be a writer?

It has always been a dream of mine, but about 6 years ago I sat down and wrote my first novel.

Who are what influenced your writing over the years?

My wife has always been my biggest influence.

How did you come up with the title of the book?

The story itself gave the title for the book. The story is about a young man having to disappear to stay alive.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Finding the time to write. I work, so I have to steal the time to write, which is why I write late at night many times.
