Q: Welcome to The Writer's Life, Lisa Burstein. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how long you’ve been writing?

A:Hi! I’m a YA and NA author and I’ve been published for about 3 years, but I’ve been writing for a lot longer than that!

Q: Can you please tell us about your book and why you wrote it?

A: The Possibility of Us is the story of Ben and Cassie. They fell in love at a Wilderness Program for troubled teens and when they are thrust back into the world, they aren’t sure what to do. They both have their own lives to go back to. This novella forces them together 3 months later at a funeral where they finally have to decide if they are ready to be together. They need to learn to deal with their overwhelming love and their real life.

Q: What were some of the biggest challenges you faced writing it?

A: It’s from both their points of view, so writing from male point of view is challenging. It’s hard to sound like a guy when you’s a girl. J

Q: Do you have a press kit and what do you include in it? Does this press kit appear online and, if so, can you provide a link to where we can see it?

Q: Have you either spoken to groups of people about your book or appeared on radio or TV? What are your upcoming plans for doing so?

A: Not about this book, but about others. I’ve spoken at books festivals, high schools and colleges. Never on TV or radio, I would be way too nervous.

Q: Do you have an agent and, if so, would you mind sharing who he/is is? If not, have you ever had an agent or do you even feel it’s necessary to have one?
